The venue TV isn’t updating

You pushed a scene or new content and the screen did not change. Work through these in order.

Checks, in order

    Does the display device have internet?
    The device driving the TV needs a live connection. A dropped Wi-Fi link on a streaming stick is the most common cause. Check its network status directly, and prefer wired ethernet if you can.

    Did the push go through?
    Nothing changes on the TV by itself. Every scene change is a deliberate push from a module’s Display tab, a TV Crowd Mode button, or Push To Venue Display. Check that the button confirmed and that DJOS’s header shows the scene you expect.

    Is it the right venue and the right screen?
    Each venue’s TV is independent, and on Pro and Enterprise each screen at a venue is too. Confirm you pushed to the venue and the screen you are looking at. The Controlling tab on the venue’s DisplayOS page shows which screen you are pointed at.

    Is the event live?
    Module scenes need a live event or session at that venue. If the event ended, the TV shows the idle screen.
  5. 5
    Reload the display page
    The TV is designed never to need this, but if something is genuinely stuck, reloading the browser tab on the display device fetches the current state fresh.

Interactive: switch which screen you are controlling. Everything below the header follows the selected screen.

If the TV shows the scene but not new content

Reactions, shoutouts, and photos reach the TV within a couple of seconds. If a scene is showing but new items are not arriving, the display device’s connection is usually the reason. Check step 1 again.

Contact support with the venue name, which screen, and what you pushed. A phone photo of the TV helps.
