Multiple screens at one venue

A main bar screen, a patio screen, and a VIP room do not have to show the same thing. Add screens to one venue and control each one separately.

This guide is about one location with several TVs. Several separate locations, each with its own screen, is covered in Multiple venues. The two combine freely.

Every venue starts with one screen

A venue gets one display the moment it is created. That is the screen the venue’s TV link has always pointed at, on every plan. Adding more screens to the same venue is a Pro and Enterprise feature: up to four on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise.

Adding a screen

    Open the venue’s DisplayOS page
    Venues, select the venue, then DisplayOS. Scroll to Your Displays.

    Name it and add it
    Use the physical spot as the name: Patio, VIP Room, Bar 2. Click Add Display.
  3. 3
    Open its link on that screen’s device
    Each display has its own permanent TV link, separate from the venue’s main one. Set it up like any other screen.

Interactive: switch which screen you are controlling. Everything below the header follows the selected screen.

Pushing a different scene to each screen

Go Live in DJOS and the quick Push To Venue Display buttons in other modules still target the venue’s main screen. To control another screen, click Control This Screen on its card under Your Displays.

Once the venue has more than one screen, the page header gets a Controlling tab row so you can switch screens without scrolling. Everything on the page, the live preview, the scene switcher, and the TV link, reflects the selected screen only.

Switching screens from DJOS

The TV Crowd Mode buttons on the CrowdOS tab get their own Pushing To row once a venue has more than one screen, so you can send a crowd view to the patio without leaving DJOS.

Removing a screen

Delete any added screen from its card under Your Displays. Its TV link stops working immediately. The venue’s original screen, marked Primary, cannot be deleted, because every existing bookmark of the venue’s TV link points at it.
