What a custom scene is
A custom scene lives in your venue’s scene library next to the defaults and pushes to the TV the same way. It can show the same live data the defaults do: Now Playing, the request QR and join code, room energy, and the DJ’s handle. A typical custom scene is a venue’s Follow The DJ screen recolored to the venue’s brand, or a last-call screen with the venue’s logo.

Schedules and playlists
Pro and Enterprise venues can also schedule scenes for set days and times and build rotating playlists from the venue’s DisplayOS control page, so a happy-hour screen or a weekend promo runs without anyone pushing it.
If you move to Core
Custom scenes you had built stay saved but cannot be pushed until you are back on Pro or Enterprise. The scene picker shows them as locked rather than removing them. Default scenes are unaffected.
