Running a round

On the host panel, set the round’s question count and point multiplier, then start it. Starting a question pushes it to every team’s phone and the TV with a synced countdown. When the timer ends, correct answers are scored and the leaderboard updates on its own.

Question formats and scoring

FormatHow it scores
Multiple choiceThe correct option scores. Everything else is zero.
Free textMatched against the accepted answers in the pack.
Closest numberThe team nearest the correct value scores. Good for “how many” and “what year” questions.

Round multipliers let later rounds count for more. A pack’s tiebreaker questions are used automatically if the game ends level.

Note
Look-away detection
Multiple Choice can flag a team whose phone left the question for a sustained stretch. It is tuned to under-flag so a quick glance never shows. See How anti-cheat works.
