Getting started

Creating your account

Signup is self-serve. There is no invite code and no call to book. This guide covers what happens from the signup form to your first look at the dashboard.

  1. 1
    Open joinvyve.io/signup
Enter your name, email address, and a password.
  2. 2
Choose a password that meets the policy
At least 9 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol. The same rule applies everywhere you set a password in VYVE: signup, password reset, and accepting a team invitation.
  3. 3
    Confirm your email
Check your inbox for a confirmation link and click it. That signs you in and takes you to onboarding.

If the confirmation email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then try signing up again with the same address. If it still does not arrive, contact support with the address you used.

Onboarding

Onboarding is one short form. It creates two things at once:

  1. 1
    Your organization
Your business or brand name. The organization is the top-level account. It owns your subscription, your team, and every venue you add.
  2. 2
    Your first venue
The physical place you are setting up first, such as a bar or a club. You can rename it later and, depending on your plan, add more venues.

When you submit, VYVE creates the organization and venue, installs the default DisplayOS scenes for that venue, sends a welcome email, and opens your dashboard. There is no separate activation step.

Note
What an organization is
Think of it as your business account. If you run more than one location, all of them can live under one organization, each with its own events and its own TV. The number of venues depends on your plan; see Comparing Core, Pro, and Enterprise.

Logging in later

Go to joinvyve.io/login and sign in with your email and password. If you forget your password, use Forgot password on the login screen and follow the reset email.

What to do next

Create your first event, then connect your venue TV. Both take a few minutes. Once the TV is connected you can go live from DJOS and guests can start scanning the QR code on screen.

Still stuck?

Send a message with your venue name and what you were trying to do. A person reads every one and replies by email.
