TournamentOS

Setting up a tournament

From a blank event to a live bracket in a few minutes. TournamentOS pairs teams and assigns tables for you.

Plan
Pro and Enterprise
TournamentOS is included on Pro and Enterprise. On Core, the Tournament event type is shown locked; upgrade from the dashboard’s Upgrade page.

Steps

  1. 1
    Create a Tournament event
Events, New Event, choose Tournament, name it, and pick the venue.
  2. 2
    Open Live Tournament Control
The tournament’s command center: teams, tables, matches, and the display push.
  3. 3
    Set the table count
How many matches can run at once at your venue. Auto Queue uses this to fill tables and line up on-deck matches.
  4. 4
    Register teams
One text field, one tap per team as they check in. Up to 64 teams. Registration can stay open after Round 1 starts if people trickle in.
  5. 5
    Build Round 1
Pairs every registered team and fills your tables. An odd team out gets a real extra game rather than a bye; see Byes and uneven brackets.
  6. 6
    Push To Venue Display
Puts the Live Board on the TV: current matchups, table numbers, and what is on deck.

Registration after the start

Leave the Registration toggle on if players keep arriving. New teams join the bracket in the next round that can take them. Turn it off once you do not want more entries.
