Setting up your venue display
DisplayOS is a web page. Any device that can hold a browser open in full screen works as your venue’s TV.
Finding the link
Open Venues and click Open TV Display next to the venue. The link is permanent and unique to that venue. Bookmark it on the display device.
Control DisplayOS on the same row opens the venue’s control page: a live preview, the scene switcher, your displays, and calibration.

Hardware

| Mini PC or spare laptop on HDMI | The most consistent option. Desktop Chrome or Edge in full screen, sleep off. |
| Smart TV browser | Works on most current TVs. Test older or budget sets before a real night; some render slowly. |
| Fire TV Stick or Chromecast with Google TV | Install a full browser app such as Silk or Chrome rather than relying on the launcher. |
| Tablet behind the bar | A good second screen for staff or a host, not only for a wall TV. |
Keeping it reliable
- Turn off the screen saver and sleep timer on the device.
- Use wired ethernet where you can. Venue Wi-Fi gets crowded when the room fills.
- Put the browser in full screen. Double-click anywhere on the page, or press F11 on a desktop browser.
- Leave the page open. Scene changes and live data arrive on their own; the tab never needs a reload.
When nothing is live
With no event live, the TV shows a neutral idle screen with the VYVE mark. Once you go live, the QR code and the event’s join code take over, and every scene you push from a module appears on that screen.
