Team roles and invitations
Bring your DJs, managers, and venue staff into your organization with the level of access each one needs.
Inviting someone
- 1Open Settings, then TeamEnter the email address and choose a role.
- 2Send the invitationAn invitation email goes out immediately with a link to accept. If email delivery fails, the same page shows a link you can copy and send yourself.
- 3They acceptIf they do not have a VYVE account, accepting creates one. Either way, they land in your organization with the role you chose. The invited person sets their own password, subject to the same policy as everyone else.

What each role can do
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and team management. Usually the person who created the organization. |
| Admin | Create and run events, manage venues, and use every module. Cannot change billing or remove the owner. |
| Member | Run events day to day in DJOS, CrowdOS, PlayOS, TriviaOS, and TournamentOS. No access to team or billing settings. |
A Member who cannot open Settings is not seeing a bug. If they need more, an Owner or Admin can change their role from the same Team page.
Changing a role or removing someone
Both actions are on the Team page next to each person. Removing someone ends their access to your organization’s events, venues, and dashboard immediately. Their own VYVE login still exists; it is just no longer attached to your organization.
Note
Notification preferences are personal
Each team member chooses their own email notifications in their account settings: when a new team member joins, when a PlayOS game ends, and when a new event is created. These are per person, not organization-wide.
Still stuck?
Send a message with your venue name and what you were trying to do. A person reads every one and replies by email.
